I have returned after a truly wonderful holiday in Taiping, Penang and ipoh.During my trip my camera performed mostly wonderfully. I did get dust on the sensor at one point. Now I’m just thinking about where to go next. I’m considering Vietnam. Next Dec I’m off to Bangkok again to go shopping with my friends. Then for the next yr trip I’ll probably plan for Euroup .I can hardly wait ==~~

Desaru Fruit Farm

The Desaru Fruit Farm is planted with many different types of tropical fruits. They experienced guides will give talks on the different plants and show us around the farm in a leisurely bullock-cart ride.We also trundled along to the petting zoo, and... squealed in delight as we saw goats and monkeys eyeing us suspiciously as we entered the small enclosure.Read More

中秋月月 MoonCake festival

On such a historic night, what were we thinking of? Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon? Or Wu Gang the woodcutter? Or perhaps Chang-Er. Maybe some were thinking of a Werewolf in London.we celebrate the Mooncake Festival. Never mind the scientific and astronomical and astrological stuff, for come the 15th day of the Eight Lunar Month in the Chinese calendar, children still come out to play with lanterns and mooncakes are devoured and exchanged. Much of the cultural significance has disappeared but it is still a day to be remembered.
