I’m a personal who love art work has veered

towards dark themes. A conscious effort to make my work

more broadly appealing and optimistic in tone has coincided

with an increasing focus on my favorite way of creating images:

my first works with pen or pencil, before the hand-drawn art

is perfected on my iMac. I’m also works with vectors, watercolor

and oil pastels, does graphic design and enjoys typography.

Whether it is a personal or commissioned work I always

keep my works attractive, intriguing and eye-catching

in terms of not only the technique and often used color

but the whole concept.

Shanghai expo 2010

My trip was awesome, fulfilling (with photo) but as usual, tiring! Trips like this are excellent bonding times for all of us and I really cherish the 9 days. Though my heart was screaming all out for my job , for Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Its been 2-3 years since my last trip to China. And I’m immensely impressed with the changes I see. I wasn’t disappointed with what I’d expected to see. Vast improvements were made, for the Beijing Olympics in 2008, as well as for the Shanghai World Expo 2010.

Of course, I was really disturbed by some of the acts of the Chinese. I believe that what I see are Chinese people from small suburbs, according to what I was told by our Tour guide. Citizens from the big cities like Shanghai are definitely more civilized. Some of the acts includes spitting on the floor (after clearing their bloody throat loudly), speaking extremely loudly across to their friends even though they are miles apart, rushing like they are catching the last boat, pushing people infront of them while queuing!!

Nevertheless, the traffic conditions had improved much in Shanghai, but in small towns, they can get quite bad. Because the laws are more enforced in big cities i believe. For instance, the zebra crossing for pedestrians in smaller cities were of no use. The cars never stopped even when the green man lights up, we had to pluck up our guts to cross and force them to stop them instead.
In one of the small towns, we actually took a ride on their motor-powered-tricycle (like tuk-tuks in Thailand) back to the hotel from somewhere, and holy, these tricycles could even take the roads in the opposite direction because our hotel was at the other side of the road where we traveled from. I actually took a thrilling video while I was on board, show you guys soon. It was scary for the first time, as we could see cars coming OUR way, but it was thrilling for the second time! Something you definitely wouldn’t experience back in Singapore! I gotta show you my favourite photo of the trip.

South Africa world cup is closed to me

I am so excited for the men’s world cup, I have been counting down the days on my calendar. I even downloaded the world cup app on my iPhone.” South Africa is a beautiful country and, while it’s not an ideal soccer nation for hosting the World Cup, the nation and the continent of Africa could benefit from the tournament. cheers South Africa ^.^

His favorite 25

We had a great saturday night with our sweet little friend, Samuel. We went TGI Friday, ate yummy food , cake hung out to the bar. Perfect night for his favorite 25 year old!

Thanks for the simple things in my life

When’s the last time you gave thanks for the simple things in your life?

If you’re like me, despite the many Biblical injunctions to be thankful, I rarely spend serious time in a spirit of thankfulness. I’ll devote a token amount of time on Thanksgiving to thank God for my family and friends—and that’s definitely a good thing—but I tend to miss out on the day to day opportunities for thanksgiving. ^.^

CRESS CROSSS

Cress Cross is my final year project 2009, and the one with the most importance so far. The idea was to create an energy fashion brand with a healthier and more luxurious image. The work included everything from the print ads packaging, the guidelines, the stationaries, the advertising posters and so on... ^.^

The Gathering

A Famosa is a 520 hectare Integrated resort with facilities like 27 hole International Golf Green (beware, there are live crocodiles in Crocodile Nine pit), Water World, Animal World Safari, Cowboy Town (plus Street Carnival and parade), Horse Riding, Fishing, Bicycle & Chariots Rides, jungle tracking, kite flying, paintball and go-kart riding. There is plenty of accommodation available such as the Resort Hotel, D’Savoy Condotel, Villa D’Amour, Villa D’Faro, Villa D’Lagos and Beverly Hills Condotel. But we just spend 1 day on that trip~ so we did't join any activities there~ Haha~~ even I through so many unforgettable memories, there are a few things that sometimes would be pissed me off if I keep thinking about it. Which is our last gathering with Ms Pok~ Friendship Forever^.^ Here are random pictures of our trip.
