Amazing Thailand ~ truly one amazing trip for the last 5 days.
You hear a lot of things about Bangkok when you're travelling as it’s the place where most people start their exploration of Asia. Most of what I’d heard was negative, with the dirt and pollution coming top of the list.
However, for the 3rd time in this trip, I was glad I’d started in Vietnam, because frankly after that baptism of fire Bangkok was a walk in the park. Yes, you can smell the drains, and your eyes get sore from the smog. Yes, a cockroach crawled into my shorts in a bar (not a euphemism Dad), but all in all I found it a city of vibrance, of colours, smells, sounds and of enchanting character.
